Our community has entered into partnership with a village in Southern Bangladesh, offering a stipend to older students who stay at school and tutor the younger children in the village. This project has been running for nearly two years, and 
has seen an increased retention rate, and some outstanding academic results.
A second project "Widow's Purse" provides a daily regular meal for all widows in the community (without reference to their religious background) so that they can remain with their families without imposing an economic burden, or having to go on the streets to beg for their meal.
Both projects are administered through a local NGO. We raise support these two projects through weekly giving at the church and also through special projects which offer opportunity to experience the value which another culture can offer.
